Podcasts
I went on Podcasts.net and searched for podcasts about Hawaii so I can keep up with the news from there. I posted the feed for 808Talk: Hawaii Podcast on my blog.
Del.icio.us
This was hardest activity for me because I had trouble setting up my account. I looked at a coworker's site and I could see how it works and how useful it can be as a reference tool.
The End or the Beginning!
This was a real learning experience for me. I have not done all of the "things" as completely as I would like. I plan to revisit them in the future to continue the learning process.
It was a realitively painless way to accquire knowledge about newer websites and online resources that will be helpful as we do day to day reference work.

YouTube
I liked the YouTube site because I was able to find obscure information about old tv shows.
I chose the Maverick video because it was from my favorite tv show when I was a young teenager.
I think the You Tube website and others like it can be helpful when answering a reference question about recent and past videos.

Discovering Web 2.0 tools
I tried many of the short cut tools. I especially enjoyed the mapping. I found it interesting and helpful. This will be a useful site when patrons are looking for a destination and don't know much about the distance or the area.
Wikis
This a good way for staff and patrons to give book reviews that are not done by professional reviewers.
Learning 2.0
After reading about all of the different bibliographic services available now and in the future to libraries, it will be interesting to see how LCPL will use them .
